Lets face it , the reason most managers are saying they are not interested in the job is Jenkins and some are saying it without being asked .
And frankly , the idea of Jenkins and someone like Bielsa co existing is somewhere between little and nothing .
Jenkins is the problem and not solution at the club these days .

It ain't rocket surgery valley .
And by the way saying Shelvey is no good, playing in our enviroment but away from his comfort zone and not his best enviroment would be like playing Williams as an attacking midfielder for a half dozen games and drawing the conclusion he's no good .

Shelvey has been here for what 3 years now? He hasn't learnt a damn thing about the way we play. In fact, we were changing our style to accommodate him.

His next club will be more suited to his style. There was a reason he left Liverpool, struggles with us and wouldn't end up at a club like Southampton. He can't play our passing way.

Would genuinely be sorry to see him go, he has a temper sure, but nobody can doubt he has the talent. Unfortunately it was never harnessed by anyone. For his sake I hope some manager will bring it out of him one day.

Plus that goal against villa..Will miss the guts of the boy.

No we don't, as I like you think he is an easy target from some as he a marmite type player, like him or hate him. I don't think he has been at his best in recent weeks, but what player has, lets see what he can do under new management. However, if he does want away we have to let him move on and get the best price we can for him and being a current international and English, should equal top dollar.

But this seems to have been brought on by HJ. Seems to me that yet again he has handled things amateurishly, sticking his oar in where it's not needed or wanted. Used properly, Shelvey is an asset and we need all hands on deck to get out of this mess, not players walking out the door. Shelvey is a convenient patsy here - every single player has been under par this season but as always our fans turn on certain players. This baffles me. Last season just look at the points we'd have lost without Shelvey. We would NOT have been top half. FACT. Now all of a sudden he's a poor player? Nonsense. We have an opportunity here to turn this around with new momentum and a new start. This is a backwards step for us and very, very foolish.

    England international means nothing.
Leon hasn't had a cap but is a far better player.

Apples and oranges. Leon played well today but within two minutes of Shelvey coming on he dinked a through ball that Gomis should have got on the end of. The point I'm making is that we are very short of goals and we can't afford to lose players who can help us get them. Leon won't do that, as good as he was today.

Ki and Leon both where outstanding, but for me Leon was my MOTM, was behind every good move, swept up all loose ball in the midfield well, as he has always done, why the hell Monk deemed him surplus to requirements this season is baffling, and one of the reason why we are now where we are, just hope Jinx spends in the transfer window, even if for a loan striker that's half decent............<ok>
