    I get this bobmid.

But someone said earlier we are not far off a good team. I agree with that too

I can take Amos or Carroll but not both
    Bring Ball in please.

Wallace made a killer tackle that saved us. So giving him another game or two.

    Cameron hit the post too.
Can we try 4-4-2 for a game or too.

    Old fashioned I know...but perhaps

I think it was a poor game, lower table Championship. What we really miss is the creativity and fluidity in midfield Eze gave us. Chair repeatedly gave the ball away today, and hasn't played well yet this season imo. We really need someone who can at least take and pass the ball around in attacking midfield, and not sure we have anyone who can do that at the moment, if Carroll, Betache or the injured again Thomas, aren't good enough in this role either.

We are totally missing that player with an eye for a pass but then again, Dykes isnt really a forward running striker. He works bloody hard and plays it off beautifully, in my opinion, he would be perfect in a 2 up top and a partner could get a lot of chances from him. Unfortunately or fortunately, depending on which way you look at it, teams rarely play 2 up top anymore. I honestly think with a decent winger purchased and with Bos on the other then 4-4-2 would actually be our strongest tactic. The only worry would be which 2 midfielders to play!

I think that might be it......it just doesn’t seem the same without the crowd. Playing to empty stadiums just hasn’t got that feel to it.

I understand what you're saying about this season though Staines. Its very strange with no fans and not being able to go to games. There isnt any advantage in playing at home. It all feels a tad fake

That’s it mate.....it just doesn’t seem ‘real’ anymore.
And you make another point well.....there really isn’t an advantage for any club to play at home anymore.
It’s true what they say......football without fans is nothing.

I'm more than happy to pay my £10 to watch us play on a Saturday as I believe every little helps towards supporting the club, but that was honestly an absolutely ****e game of football. One of the worst Owls teams in a long time and we were not much better, if at all. Really dissapointed with the performance today, lacked most things you expect from a team.

Wednesday were poor and it would have been a travesty had they won it, but we were hardly any better. We need to play with more positivity and I'd really like to see Dykes and Bonne start together up top.

Totally. There is a massive lack of positivity in our play. It's like players are afraid to go forward or pass forward. I'm getting so sick of players turning back to pass to a defender, who then either over hits a diagonal or usually plays back to the keeper.

And more on the positive side - Dieng was good, our MOM for me, with a good save or 2, and really helping our defence to work better by coming off his line to catch or punch away crosses that Lumley or Kelly would have not left the goal line for.

I think you've hit the nail on the head mate. It doesn't matter where you play the games, it could be The Kiyan Prince, Harlington, or Old Trafford. Without the fans there, it's like a training ground game. The number of players scoring and making their debuts and mentioning that it would've been nice to do it in front of the fans is something I've heard often.

Having said that ... Macauley Bonne looked more than happy with his equaliser ...
