Boootiful stuff! Man I hope we can keep this team together in Jan. Runs like that from Aaron's will not go unnoticed in the PL tho.
What I love about that move was that Zimmerman started it when he was fending off a Nuhiu attack on goal. Aaron's run, one-two and then assist was breathtaking. Pukki did well to read the run and time his own run to score. Great stuff.
Maximillian Aarons has been the best player for me , since he came into the side we have clicked, rarely makes a bad pass has bags of energy and confidence. Future England right back at this rate . Can't fault any of them , surreal really.
WhoScored had Buendia MotM on 8.4 points, closely followed by Pukki (8.2), Aarons (8.1) and Krul (8.0).
Great article - https://soccersouls.com/2018/10/15/...ted-18-year-old-chelsea-target-to-a-new-deal/ 'There is little surprise that clubs from the top-flight are tracking the young Aarons’ progress. The full-back’s development has been speedy and he has emerged as a key player for Farke’s side.'
Only just read this FML and BRILLIANT to read such a positive post!!! WHO could have even dreamt that 8 weeks after being thrashed by Leeds, that we could be in one of the 2 automatic promotion places. I've always said that the Leeds game wasn't that bad and JR was within a whisker of equalising when a defender got an 'all important' block in. Within 5 minutes, Leeds scored their 2nd and it was effectively 'game over'. Bring on Mi!!wall!!! Have you got a ticket??? He has been rather ‘conspicuous by his absence’ hasn’t he???
MB mentioned in his half-time summary that the Canaries needed ‘to go through the gears’ in the 2nd half and that’s exactly what they did. This from DF - Speaking post-match, the City boss said: "It was a well-deserved win. We sped up our game, especially in the second-half. We were the better side in the first-half but I got the feeling we could play even better." https://www.canaries.co.uk/News/2018/november/df-wednesday/ PD's player ratings here - http://www.edp24.co.uk/sport/norwic...pionship-win-at-sheffield-wednesday-1-5763985 Pukki with a 9!!!
Hopefully it's nothing serious, but Klose has put a photo on Instagram of a heavily strapped ankle, which he wasn't happy about.
