My opinion is just that and based upon the source stated. As anyone with a brain will soon tell you, stats only tell part of the story and can be manipulated to suit the ends required. To dismiss my opinion as Canarycall fodder is offensive as my view is just as valid as your own.
If you state we were bad because our players were constantly offside even though that was not the case then your input is incorrect still valid but incorrect.
For what its worth, I'm a big fan of Grabban. He's nowhere near the finished article yet and will only get better. But then again, personally, I think we shipped the wrong striker out on loan last Summer. But hey, what do I know? Today's game was not a bad performance by any means and I'm very much of the glass half full school of thought. But, if we hadn't have got caught out by a disciplined SW offside trap today, I suspect the result would have been more positive.
I didn't say they were constantly offside. I said it felt like they were, particularly at key moments in the second half. There is a difference.
I didn't realise that Drenthe played for SW. I thought he was doing well at Everton last time I heard of him.
Interesting article from Chris Goreham on the EDP website - http://www.edp24.co.uk/sport/column...ty_game_as_one_to_remember_1_3822500#cxrecs_s. Says Westwood was given a '10' for his performance against us!!!
