If it wasn't so expensive i would have gone today , 10 mins walk from my dad's house. Straight up Warky your boys are at least entertaining.
Admittedly I was listening to the radio commentary, but it was the timing of them in the 2nd half. It seemed that we were turning the screw and every time we broke for a counter attack, the offside flag was going up.
So you are not going to back up your statement with facts then. How many times were we flagged offside and who were the main culprits? Get back to canarycall.
No where near 100% 23. Just don't rate Grabban and think we could have bought much better. You defend him all you like mate it's your prerogative, I just don't rate him. His penalty record and chances missed out way his goals.( which four were deflected ) I hope he comes good and starts scoring freely, just don't see it happening.
This is all you have said during the entire game , you have not mentioned any other player since the off. It's not me with the obsession you are just boring. You don't rate him i get it but who do you like from today's game? Too difficult to have an opinion ?
TBH 23 Grabban has potential but he's no way near the finished article at this level. He should have easily had a hat trick against us and yet he ****ed up all those clear cut chances! No doubt he will get better but maybe he needs a break to restore some confidence as that is what is clearly missing.
It is not me with the bloody obsession i know all our strikers are flawed , i just get the hump when everyone gets on his case every f**ing game and useless f**ers that can't score like Lafferty and Hooper get praised for sharpness etc. Jerome had a great run into the box but instead of shooting he tamely passed to the keeper , Redmond played him in inside the box and he only had to slot it home instead he took a heavy touch and the keeper jumped on it. Grabban ran onto a pass at speed and cannoned the ball against the keeper and people jump straight on his back and make up stats about him killing chances by being offside constantly which was bulls**t. My Ipswich supporting stepmum said at 2-0 that you lot would f** it up <not in those words> and you did so our draw was probably less painful.
Yep we've thrown away 9 points from winning positions and yet we are still in the hunt! This is one mad mad mad league and it will go right down to the wire in May. There isn't one stand out side in the league this year, not one that will run away with it like Leicester did last year.
Why is it you seem to speak more sense than most yet they consider you a WUM? I respect your humble realist stance Warky and if my side kept throwing leads like that i would be spitting barbed wire. This league is a topsy turvy bitch that nobody can pin down.
On paper your team should be in the top 2 come May but due to the endless games Tuesday, Saturday, Tuesday it is relentless and once you get into a bad run of form it is very difficult to break out of it. Of course if you win a couple then momentum will lift you but make no mistake it isn't easy and I had to laugh at some of the comments made by a few of your fellow posters earlier in the season! Just look at Forest they haven't won in 7 games and they are now out of the top 6 after starting off so well.
A top 6 finish would do . 100 points and 100 goals makes no difference as long as we go up and i think we can.
Of course you can but so can 10 other teams in this league! Nothing is a given but you do need to start winning again soon because you can't afford another month like this one. The same goes for us but in our case it would be seen as a minor miracle if we reach the playoffs in May!
You lot have been playing the double jeopardy card all season little town performing miracles on 10 large where as anything other than auto spot is considered a failure for us. I see what you are doing
I think this board is going to collapse Gandy, if i didn't make a thread then all the moany ****ers would not have anywhere to complain today.
Hear what you're saying. A little criticism is fair enough, but a lot of it is over the top. We're doing ok anyway, if we can put a few things right we'll be awesome. Also the £7 mil profit will be more than doubled when we recoup our £8.5 for RVW.
Constructive criticism of our entire side shape and technique would be good but it just seems like I'm reading the minutes from a canary call whiny ****er convention. Compared to the dross we have been served over the years I am relatively happy to be in with a shot of winning this bloody thing.
