Had to take my son to a kids birthday party and make small talk (is there anything more tedious than this?) so just watched the game back now. Bit of a scrappy game. Wednesday played well against us. Forced us into errors. Dare I say it, but we miss Forshaw in the middle. We just couldn't keep the ball and play through the press. The sooner we get Dallas out of the middle the better. Fish up a tree he is! Thought we edged the first half, thought they edged the second half. We looked tired the last 20 minutes again. God knows what we are going to look like in April after 45 games! Worries me slightly. I'm pretty sure Nketiah done enough to get a start next game. The ankle knock on Bamford gives the perfect excuse to shoehorn him out without shaking his loyalty to him. Klich and Phillips need help in there. Teams are really pushing on to Phillips and denying him space. I think Forshaw would take some responsibility off his shoulders. Dallas just can't do it, isn't his game. Klich is more of a runner. Dallas and Klich together leave Phillips isolated. Forshaw or even Shak would alleviate that problem. 2 points away from home against in form teams in the top 6 is ok. Throw in the grind against West Brom and this tough run of fixtures hasn't been too bad. We are still in the mix and have an easier 6-8 games coming up. We have to start picking up the wins over the next month or so and take advantage.

When Pablo is fit, he draws players out of position, when we play with a number 10 it’s again another threat that needs watching, when we had Roofe defenders were scared of his pace. Now we just seem to lack any potency, Alioski defended poor today, he gave the ball away, his crosses were bad yet when he is in or around the box he looks a danger, let’s throw Dallas in at LB and play Alioski further forward. Forshaw was great at the start of the season but until he is back we need to change the formation and play a proper 10, try Costa in a different position or drop him. The last two games we’ve not looked like a Bielsa team, the cogs are not turning with this current starting 11
