One big difference, they were all given a kings ransom every season to pick whatever player they wanted. No big deal to win trophies there. Difference is, we are paupers and still are, signing loanees and other clubs failures and cast offs. Stick blue nose or Rodgers in same financial plight and see what they'd have achieved, NOTHING same as McD is doing
I'm not asking for McD to be sacked Billy , but some of his tactics lately have been questionable to say the least, something aint right
I dont think he let's Diouf swan off around the world at will, I just don't think there's very much that can be done about it. This all happened before Christmas anyway, it's been building since we failed to deliver against a very poor bottom of the league Barnsley
Agree Olof ... his players aren't right ... think a lot of them know their time's up at Leeds the cnuts Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
Here's one for you regarding Christmas - my brother spent a while with McDermott on Christms Eve in The Fat Badger on Christmas Eve night. My bro didn't even know who he was, having lived in Australia and Vietnam and Phillipines for last decade, and not being an LUFC supporter - he had to be told by his mate who the bald guy was. Did McD tell his players they were not allowed out throughout the Xmas period, yet he went out himself? There is something going wrong. And the first person to actually mention being under pressure and possibly McD losing his job was - on this thread - a quote that McD stated himself! I haven't asked for his head - I believe he is a damn good manager - but something has gone wrong. I hope he sincerely can turn it round. When we were 2-0 down, or maybe just after Smith got sent off and they scored the 3rd, the camera panned to the Leeds bench where Brown was grinning and having a laugh with, I think, Varney sat in front of him. Maybe McD's problem is these old lags - Brown, Varney, Norris, Diouf - w2o are unable to get into the starting eleven. But that's pure speculation. I want him to get back to basics, instil a real team spirit, and put out a formation that works. Whoever it was that siad we weren't playing wing-backs today needs to seriously look at themselevs
Nah Glory, I'm prepared to give him time, hope we get another couple of players in this TW, and like someone else said, you can't judge Stewart and Kebe on one game, nows not the time to panic.
I said they ain't fit, or they are crap. I ain't judged em yet. I have judged the bloke who picked them to play today.
Chillout lads and get drunk, we're only 4 points from a playoff spot. it could be worse.. we could be a point from a relegation spot like the Wallies
Why buy two wingers, start them along with two wing backs, and play McCormack up front on his own leaving big target man Smith on the bench? Just doesn't make sense. Also this must be the first time this formation has been used in the history of the game..three CB's, two CM's, two wingbacks, two wingers and a little man up front. WTF's that all about? Inexcusable and inexplicable.
Yep. It's my local. Btw he didn't go to the game he arranged on Wednesday even though he lives less than two miles from the ground. I am likely to see him tonight as we are going out to restruant (the Orchid) he seems to be in most Saturday nights I won't be buying him a brandy this time.
Didn't really do anything. Kebe looked lightweight but understandably his head went down and then nothing went right for him.
