Because jakupivoc improved , so rightly took the plaudits . Should people have kept on criticising him even after he started playing well? Same as If Marshall improved he will get plaudits , it's not a competition to back a **** player from the start then hope he comes good and look like an expert . If players play **** consistently they should be called out on it , and then fans should have the grace to give them praise if and when they improve
There's criticising a player, and then there's going to extremes, which seems to happen nearly every time a player has a bad performance.
Agree with that , don't think there is anything wrong if people want to vent on here , but the other things are uncalled for
Imagine how you'd feel when you walk in that bookies full of confidence and hope and we're all In there booing you and jeering your choices. Laughing at City to win 4 nowt on your coupon!!! Think on dj Which bookies do you go in by the way
Do you think many people on here condone booing our own players ? On the other hand where else are you going to vent your feelings if not on a football messageboard ? What is this place for ?
Grositski not even on the bench ? Dare I say we won't see him in the City shirt again. Pity cos there is definitely a player there .. just his attitude and thinking he is the best thing since Pele that pisses me off
As for Marshall .. if he manages a decent game .. concentrates or even manages a save or 2 then people will get behind him .. Jak was fkn hopeless at the start but eventually came good .. however Jak was younger then Marshall .. he made msitàkes but also saved a few to start with. If I'm totally honest I just can't recall Marshall making one save of note at any stage that he has played .. he is so lethargic .. slow to react .. leaden footed I just think his confidence is totally shot tbh.
Wish you would, might make me think twice usually coral on Hessle road as i pass it on my way home from work
While you're at it can you see who was backing Marshall 2 years ago (?) despite performances worse than expected of a 5 million pound keeper. When Jak finally got a chance he blew Marshall away, not to be seen again until the 7 - 1 defeat at home to Spurs. Funny old game, especially for goal keepers. Never was the saying "when i do wrong no one forgets but when I do right no one remembers" so appropriate.
He is the worst keeper we’ve ever had. I haven’t seen a more lacklustre performer between the sticks. That includes Amos who was ****ing hopeless. I won’t boo him, but he needs a change of scenery. Jak made one mistake - Marshall has made countless mistakes. Mistakes which are proving costly.
