Starting next year, team kits to be made out of towel fabric.

Same numerous times I thought it was banned. How can you book players for kicking ball away, taking too long on throws but not do anything about them taking 20 seconds to wipe the ball any time want to take a throw.

Absolute pathetic from referees tbh. The whole time wasting thing just gone out the window these days and only thing getting booked for is kicking ball away now.

That’s not Gomez fault though is it. I can only assume was in there for the long throws compare to tsimikas who got done at back post for header in Fulham game.

Gonez was never going to offer width but that’s on klopp not gomez

That’s why Delaps were so dangerous for Stoke before because he could launch it flat and far so was actually more like a cross than a big loopy one

The time wasting at throw ins is irrelevant now because the time is just added on which is why many games run to 100mins or more these days hence no card because you gain nothing from wasting time.
kicking the ball away is still carded because you are denying the opposition the chance to take a quick free kick whilst you are out of position, nothing to do with time.

what went largely unnoticed at the game and what none of the press or amazon seemed to pick up on was the sheff utd captain not wearing rainbow armband.

    what did newcastle do?

both club in effect owned by Saudi Arabia.

It won't be long til half the prem is owned by individuals pretending not to be stooges of the Saudi Crown Prince and his schemes.

It’s amazing how the press are actually capable of staying quiet when they want to
Plenty made about Klopps comment though

the media are going to also be owned by saudi.

The country would want to wake up to these things really.

There's no such thing as a press press when its owned by either murdoch or oil barons.

There's a reason the bbc gets hammers left and right. its not up for them to buy and influence so its always getting hammers for reporting one way or the other.

That’s not the rules. Time wasting is a yellow card offence. It’s always been added to the end of the game

trent got a card for it in the first or second game. Its clearly an offense when refs feel like it.

Tbf Oliver Norwood captained them vs Burnley at the weekend and he wore the rainbow armband so it's obviously not a Saudi thing in this instance more about who captained them against us, Anel Ahmedhodzic. I don't know anything about him other than a quick Google search which says he's Bosnian. I don't know his religion or if Bosnians generally have a different outlook on these things but he personally has a right not to wear something he disagrees with whether we like it or not. Similarly the lad who wouldn't wear the poppy a few years ago.

James McLean. Guy gets stupid amount of abuse and if he that abuse was homophobic, racial, sexist you’d be seeing some serious fines and headlines about it. Unfortunately for him, just gets ignore and he has to live with constant abuse for something that isn’t even bad.

that's fair enough, hand it elsewhere.

    simple solution.

it was the Irish lad, the useless left winger at Wigan, what was his name? I though the slavering patriots critiquing someone after their own stealing of the poppy was hilarious.

do rainbow laces or don't. if someone doesn't want the available armband then pass it on

Or ....... stop all political and/or quasi-political symbols and actions from entering the football arena. I don't even like that shirts carry sponsor names. All betting sponsorships should be banned.

Well that is also an option for sure.

sport and politics should not mix.

but sport can be a force for good for charities.

I totally agree betting companies should be immediately banned. its a shocking cancer that's actively encouraged rather than controlled
