I'm disappointed we didn't get at least a point from that. Sheffield weren't good, their support was quiet and moaning. But we were poor until Freeman came to life a bit 2nd half, scored a good goal, and Smyth came on. Trouble was a good cross from Pawel was on it's way to a free Washington, but Smyth touched it away from him. Lynch MOM for me.

It’s gone so our hope now imo is to drive towards the mid pack and safety

    We can do this

I have a hunch we’ll try out an innovative 3-5-2 offering little down the left.

    Agreed Rich
I think however we will pick up on the road
Performances getting better away but not getting the results
I fancy us away at Fulham funny enough
Have to beat Reading at least plus we owe the Bees a performance

    Fancy us at Fulham :azn:<laugh>:cheesy:

Fortunately I’ll be in just about as remote a part of this hemisphere as is possible at that time.

I hope you're right. We have a tough run-in away from home ... Aston Villa, Fulham, Reading, Hull, Brentford and Leeds. There must be something in our mindset or tactics as to why we can't get going until we get going until we concede two as in our last two away matches.

This season we've taken 72% of our points at home and 28% away which is a huge differential.

Our defensive coach Curtis Fleming leaving seems to have been a huge bonus though as we've conceded fewer goals on average ( 4 ) in the four games since he's left. Two clean sheets at home in that spell too.

I just do know not why
Fulham are outstanding playing a brilliant euro brand of footie but we have a bit more backbone now
I honestly can see this going our way Yet I can see us getting nothing at Hull

Hoping Leeds will be a nothing match

Have to fancy us at home against anyone

    We can make 55 points

16 points from 39 is doable

Seems to me we are letting in goals from flick ons of corners now though.

The one we concede v Boro was under his watch. It's difficult to apprehend that this has happened twice since then and in the same manner. Flick on near post, goal scored by unmarked opponent far post. I'm convinced that professional footballers, coaches and managers are quite thick.

Wow the Forest game is a biggie, hopefully we've gotten over our hoodoo of letting teams below us win. Performances are picking up it seems.

Déjà vu, same pattern, outplayed and go behind then change the formation to try and get back in the game too late. Why can't the idiot get it right from the off? Forest now a vital game we just can't afford to lose...

I watched Forest last night and they were shocking. We really should beat them at home.

We need to set the team up as if we are loosing and it is half time.

i.e. we should go for it!

Then they’d go home at half time and we’d have to forfeit. Disagree.
