Cirkin is OK but 2 weeks away
09 role - he is still very good for the squad
It is good for me to have good depth in the squad to manage different circumstances
We played well on Tuesday but we didn't score
It will be different tomorrow with a new style of play
We have to be versatile for each game
The foundations are getting better - not perfect but we can manage different phases
I liked the behaviour of the team and the willingness to press
We have to show our balance and versatility. This is a very tough opponent. We have to master all phases of the game and be more clinical
We are still in the Championship it will have new scenarios, we are doing well but we are faced with new challenges.
    No new injury concerns
We need to keep the balance and need to trust the team
We are very strong at some parts of the game but sometimes find ourselves short
We have to push until the January window, we believe in youth and development
Another test of the maturity of the team - it will be a tough challenge but one that we look forward to
We can keep the consistency with Wilson - we don't have to change
In football sometimes we have to create something new

Maybe that means he sees O'Nien as a squad player now Ballard is fit

Surely we are well over due a bit of luck, a bounce of the ball, a ref to give us something for a change, the oppo to get a man sent off etc etc

So I think we will nick it with a 0-1. Roberts finally scoring in a MoM performance.

Why is the radio commentator even in press conferences? I could be very mistaken here but I don't think that's the norm.

He’s mentioned subs, creating more chances, being more clinical and set pieces.

Shame about cirkin, I expect a tough night and think there’s a good chance they’re too strong for us however this is the championship and we will get opportunities as a result of them actually trying to attack us, we’ve proven we can get up the pitch quickly so there will be chances for us, no reason we can’t nick it

I think he's logistically the BBC's representative for Sunderland.

And he’s said he’s gonna keep Wilson up front basically.

    I love this man

Very happy with that. A very very positive press conference in terms of noticing problems.

The squad isn’t perfect but totally transformed from the League One outfit. There’s no way a club, like this, can have specialist cover for each position so we have to adapt.

For anyone who believes we should’ve, and should, sign more players for each position …

… I suspect the answer is, tough luck.

I'd personally play Alese for sure. I think O'Nien did well on Tuesday but the balance is much better with Alese left and Hume right.

He will. There is no way the club will want Ballard not getting game time. I agree with them TBH. It's harsh on 09 as he has stepped up a lot but for me the Mepo and Ballard are as good as you're going to get as a championship pairing.

Time for RLB to change it up on the front foot straightaway and move the ball at pace, stop with the tippy tappy slow build up from the back.
We have pace all over the pitch so let's use it.
We are solid in defence midfield for me is the problem Neil for me is not a holding midfielder he plays better when he's off the leash playmaker is his best use.
I'm going for a win the pressure is off us as we are not top of the table.

Agree although i think that is more that Hume isnt overly comfortable at left back.

    Tomorrow night i would go
