They always move straight from the 3pm game to the 5.30pm game. Nothing to do with who the managers are. The interviews get put up online etc instead.
Just reading a Blades forum - my god they’re having an enormous moan about how easily we went down, and how Tierney was biased and giving us everything. Weird.
Well done Ralph, game 100 and a decent win. Let's enjoy the moment and then think about beating Citeh! Well done to Che too, must feel a lot better tonight and know that you'll be definitely be playing next match!
Great to get to a no fuss routine win. With s bit of composure that could have been four if five. Heat to have KWP back, his movement and dribbling creates more room for Stuey and co. Looks like Tella could be some player, very impressed with him today and his constant work rate. Please for Che. Hope we see those two for a run of games. Lastly, thought Forster was very positive in everything he did. Some turn around for the guy, very pleased for him. Let's hope he keeps his clean sheet run going and has a worldy against City
Is it just me who's not massively concerned about Ings being out? Yes it's a blow but with players like Diallo and KWP back and Armstrong playing further forward we look back to where we were before the horrendous run. There may be games where we miss his clinical touch and his hold up play but it will be good for Tella to get more game time and Minamino is a good finisher.
No. Me too. As I mentioned, I think Stu is more critical right now. It might actually do Danny a bit of good to have a rest (though obviously I’d prefer him fit).
In fairness to them, Tella doesn’t need too much persuasion to go down (though they were legitimate fouls).
Ok - though I’m sure last time I watched they had a break where they interviewed the managers. Mind you - it was a long time ago!
Seems like a much improved performance today. It was a game I would have been worried to have lost but the win effectively put a good deal of distance between us and the bottom three. I do not think we will get dragged in to a battle. The bottom three are gone, I think.
Sorry if you know this , but if you look on the bbc , he is interviewed on there , or rather the interview is shown on there .
I don’t think that today suddenly means everything is okay. It wasn’t that kind of performance (and SU were woeful), but it was certainly a step in the right direction. Delighted for Che after some unfair criticism, and a spate of dubiously disallowed goals.
No, but we won, and won well in the end. Diallo and KWP are back and Che's back in the goals. Things look a lot rosier.
I don't think we were ever going to jump immediately back to our pre-christmas form. Getting the ball rolling is important and we've done that here. Players returning will need a bit of time to hit full stride, and Saints as a team need the same. The monkey is off the back now with that win and it buys us a bit of breathing room and takes any needless pressure off wanting to pull off a result against City. And with the quick turn around for the City game I'd be looking to rest KWP, Diallo, Armstrong and maybe Tella for that one. But particularly those just back from injury and those who struggle to play twice a week (Armstrong). We have much more important games coming up. First and formost though, great win today! Lets enjoy it! It's been a while
