I barely noticed the ref tbh.

 

Except for the sending off of Bannan.

 

Should've been a sending off but you get plenty of those that never get noticed, ref wasn't that bad, nothing like the Forest and Burton clowns.

Really naff performance, had most of the position but did nothing with it, blunt up front and precarious at the back.

Gayle was totally anonymous before he went off, Perez as ineffectual as ever, let's go all out and start Murphy and Mitro next time.

 

right for one ..diame gets booked for a pull back just past the half way line ... gets yellow .

then second half not sure who it for us ..( gets past def on 18 yard line nearly clear on goal ) gets pulled back ...no yellow . same thing if not worse .


also pudil just takes out mitro at the end ..how on earth that is no yellow .. well just no point of being rules or cards in my eyes.

Then the big talking point the ( red that should of been )...umm suprised you missed that one millions did not ..


how you could see what sheff wed were up to all game . well it beyound me ..they done exactly the same to us at home ..

Another **** biased ref. He was so pro Sheff Weds it was unreal.

 

Amazing how all of these refs hate Newcastle though, and that we've gone a whole season without getting a decision in our favour.

 

m8 there was another one in the first half when perez was taken out while we were on the counter ,,,he waved advantage ... then it came to nowt ..


a prem ref would of gave a certain yellow ...he just forgot about it .... really frustrating .. because if it was a blue and white foul that would of def been a yellow ..


hate the pretend injury game that sheff wed do when tackled or contact has been made ...just laughable

I thought we looked a lot more dangerous with Murphy and Mitro on and hope they would start against Leeds where a bit of bottle will be needed.

 

If Rafa starts Perez again he is ****ing mental. Mitro and Murphy all day. **** this defensive **** now. We are **** in defence.

 

Perez is a real liability. I've said it for some time; you cannot have that amount of gametime, produce so little and still get by on "potential". We have a few games left to propel ourselves out of this mire, it's time to just throw any caution to the wind and go with a straight on "we're better than you" 4-4-2.

By the way, my man-love for Shelvey has been deepened by today. It was Weds 2- 1 Shelvey. No fcker else turned up.

If Gayle wasn't fully fit, then tweaked his hamstring, and Ritchie looked not at his best, we'd be up against it. Sheff Wed are a good side.
But with Lascelles and Mbemba having a stinker too, we've just got to put that down to all the weaknesses coming together.

Murphy and Mitro looked dangerous together. Not sure when Clark is due back.
Let's get prepared for Leeds.

 

Didn't see or listen to any of this game, but wasn't surprised when I saw the result. Great weekend for Brighton, but our aim is to go up and despite losing we're still in a stronger position to do that than before the weekend.
