oh well ... could be worse... could be better. I have to say I just dont get excited by this team and thats not right after too many years supporting the hoops.
Didn't Harry say too many loan players last year and mercenaries. Have a look at our team tonight Harry have we moved forward or back.
No where near imo. In an ideal world we should be rebuilding for two-three seasons, but I fear we don't have that much time. If we are lucky enough to go up we should be very happy, use that season in the Prem to build for the future and not stop gap solutions just to stay up. Another relegation wouldn't be a disaster if we use our stay in the Prem better than last time. Go down with a team you can keep on building without losing the best players and then go up to stay there.
Sounds like they've given up. Need to somehow stay in the play offs until we get some of the injured players back. Think it'll be because of the shight ness of other teams rather than our own form that dictates that.
Thanks. It's been a bad day for Leeds. But you guys proving that buying success isn't the answer really helps.
Im enjoying watching Real Madrid, watching a once in a lifetime player like Ronaldo is much more appealing than our sh*te. I genuinely dont love any of our players, nothing makes me want to care about them other than my loyalty to the shirt. Maybe only Barton dare I say and Austin.
At least Murphy has done well so far in goal even though he has conceeded 3 and Yun looks ok.... Oh good Carroll on for O'Neill what a difference that's going to make....
Not sure I am getting this....we have barely a team to put out...due to injuries...your guy turns out to be a crook...we have an unfair penalty given against us... No mate...bad day at the office for our team/ the ref...not quite in your league... Your problems are a bit more MASSIVE than ours
Problem is we got stuck with overpaid oldies and plugged the gaps with too many loan players. We made a few good additions like Austin, Simpson and Philips but there the ones who are injured. We needed a good striker to play alongside Austin and when he got injured we needed two. Put this all together and you can see by our results the problems we have had in the last few games. That said we have played poor for most of the season. We can pass but no end result. If we did get up in the play offs we at least get rid of a lot of out of contract players and loan players but we need to invest in good young players this time and not oldies with a past history. My biggest fear if we go up is we keep Harry who will buy exactly the type of players we don't want.
Murphy has been our best player and we're losing 3-0, says it all. A new low point even for this lot.
