I'd have thought it'd be a calculated risk for someone. Likely to recover and yet probably get him for 1/3 of market value. Obviously wouldn't get through a full medical, are they compulsory?
Sheffield Wednesday manager Carlos Carvalhal has been charged following his sending-off during the game against Hull City on 2 December 2017. He has until 6pm on 7 December to respond.
I heard you 'say' it OLM, and in a very patronising tone too. However you haven't explained why nobody is going to put in a cheeky bid for him. Modern surgery suggests this wouldn't be too big a risk. They are dealing with owners who would sell their own grand mother (and therefore mum too) if it has a value (which it wont in a few months). Would be perfect for a Wolves/ Derby/Cardiff etc. A deal would suit all parties.
By January, won't foreign clubs be able to start talking to him (last 6 months)? I'm sure he'd have a good idea of his value. Probably wants to go back to Italy.
I wasn't meaning to be patronising, I'm just finding it a weird conversation, club's simply don't sign players who are out with an almost season long injury. He wants to go back to Italy, he can agree a deal to go to any Italian club in January, on a free at the end of the season (and with a healthy signing on fee) and that's what I expect to happen.
I'm he sure he'll be well chuffed, but whoever picked this team either didn't watch our game, or thought every other left back in the league was utterly appalling... please log in to view this image
WhoScored is all based on stats isn't it? So it'll be that he made the most clearances, blocks and whatever else they use.
Ok, and I guess the player/agent holds the power these days. At least we have him from Feb tiil the end of the season. I bet Allams are pissed off we are getting nothing back for someone they paid £11m for. Shame, but then it probably delays them ****ing off.

Looking at that, I'm amazed at the amount of bitching on the Brentford forums about throwing away points from leading positions. Clearly they've thrown them away long before the last 15 minutes.
Only saw it the other day, but thought his C5 plea/outburst juxtaposed with proof that it wasn't a penalty and the ref called it right was a hoot.
Often, managers' complaints are subjective - taken either way - but that was clear cut from the replay. He made himself look unreliable and desperate too - it begged the question: how many of his pleas are valid then? Would have been dead easy to check VT beforehand as well.
