Never been before so wondering what scarf to wear, seeing as though it's going to be absolutely ****ing freezing. City scarf safe these days or still a no colours trip?

I personally wouldn't bother with colours. I've been all over the country watching City and it is one of the roughest ones. Always seems to be people looking for fights.

Ditch the City scarf mate and wear something neutral. The black and amber jesters hat is a must though.:emoticon-0148-yes:

Don't think he's at the club yet, in the announcement Rosenior is quoted: “He’s had a minor injury and is working on his rehab at Crystal Palace but is someone we believe is worth the wait. He’ll be with us soon and I can’t wait to have him at the club and get working with him.”

    Certainly was
Can’t say I knew him brilliantly, but we were on nodding and hello terms after he bailed me out of the ****. Nice bloke.
That was no help when he kicked me all round a Sunday League pitch though <laugh>

I also nearly ended up scrapping in their corporate hospitality too.
Mixture of blunt thugs and a copper from here off duty but gobbing off to them.
With me stuck in the middle
    Hospitality was a ****hole

Still in the ground - a early form of 'kettling' or whatever...
Apparently Den shouted 'duck' as he saw it coming - I was facing the other way still looking at pitch and didn't hear him - luckily my head stopped it hitting other innocent fans and may have gone a bit dizzy / not fully conscious... Then all marched back to the football special train and a long journey back, trying to clean up the blood so didn't get 'told off' by parents.

Luckily no long term damage :emoticon-0101-sadsm

    Scum...

Among my favourite ever City games are the FA Cup semi (highlights above - love Fryatt's goal)

and City 4 - 1 Pigs (C. 1982/3). It was 1-1 with about 10 minutes left and then Marwood scored 2 almost identical goals, beating their offside trap and Les Mutrie then beat about 4 of their players and slotted home the fourth. Bunkers was bouncing for 15minutes solid. I started off somewhere near the back of the stand and ended up somewhere down the front!

    2-2 tomorrow

For those unlucky enough not to be at Bramall Lane tomorrow. Just to rub it, I will be with a set of fine fellows, 100% City fans to a man, the club are streaming it £10 off the club website. What's not to like?

The 5-3 Semi was a personal joy after all those years. Yes they where League 1 but they where still Sheff Utd.

Mutrie’s stunner, one of my favourite ever City goals, was 1983/1984. Remember as I moved from Hull in May 1983 and remember travelling back for that game. Still got a scar on my ankle from when I was jumping up and down and caught it on the edge of the terracing.<laugh>

No. There wasn’t a SAG then and fans who thought you should act as if in a theatre.
