We deserved to win Sheff Utd where the home side offered very little other than the usually hump it into the box.
Interesting how people view the game. To describe us as 'murdering them for 90 minutes' is ridiculous I imagine Adkins would agree. If that was a league game I'd be disappointed if we lost and felt we deserved a point. There where some good signs and it's clear in areas of the team we have depth others we don't. It was great to see Marshall have another good game. I purposefully avoided discussing him before as a keeper is such a hard position where a mistake costs a goal. Midfielders make 10 mistakes a game and get away with it, Marshall makes one and it costs us. I was never an Adkins fan but so far on the pitch this year I think he has done pretty much everything we could expect with the squad and sticking with Marshall for last night was a masterstroke in my eyes. Great to go to a game and I can't wait for Rotherham away next week.
Fair play to you. My last visit to that ****hole was ruined by the profligacy of Chubber Ackpomb in a game we should have won at a canter. Can't face it again so soon. It will be bad enough having to listen to that ex GY scrubber Paul Hurst on the radio wittering on about the unlucky dominant Millers etc
Accessed by that tenfoot next to the scrapyard. Always felt we were underachieving having to visit there.
My coming-of-age years, early 90s/late teens, longing for the day we played 'big' clubs again. Always wondered if the perma Ron Hull advertisement there was the part inspiration for the identity/garb of the LOG character.
We have a fan variant that relishes the 'Hovis ad' games as our natural milieu and the easier opposition they provide. Been there too many times for comfort.
As I am not going to home games I need to get my fix of football somehow. I went to that game too, football was the distant loser that day, both team played very poorly.
I don't think so, I'm sure its a golden goal plus a behind closed doors ****ing competition. Whichever comes first.
