Maybe. I got to page 100 waiting for something to happen. Just didn’t think it warranted greatness.

Often better to watch the film. Doctor Zhivago being a good example. Ever met anyone who has read Catcher In The Rye? It was de rigeur for students to walk round with a copy back in the 1960s but have never come across anyone who has actually read it.<laugh>

True he’s a good body to have on set pieces but just thought he didn’t provide any relief for us when the ball went to him. Think he makes it so hard for himself to control the ball sometimes when he gets in wrestling matches with the centre halves

One other plus point for Eaves is that he is very good in defense for set pieces. He often gets a header away late on as he did against the Blunts.

I read it for O-level. Can't remember anything about it!

Sounds about right.

No, it’s crap.

Article from a recent HDM article about the rankings of 50 towns and cities ended with this-

"In the study, rent in Hull was rated as the most affordable of all followed closely by Telford and Sunderland but Hull was also rated as 50th out of 50 for internet affordability.

It was rated 42nd for the quality of its libraries, 43rd for its green spaces and 45th for weekly wages.

The city was rated at a paltry 43rd best overall out of a total of 50 ahead of Newcastle, Sheffield and Swindon but behind Leeds (28th), York (12th) and Norwich (2nd)."

Just recognising a very good team effort, celebrating a very good, potentially valuable away point, and arguably but imo a much improved tactical approach.
Perspective (and it was even more stark v's Fulham) ...

Does somewhat put it in perpspective. Did not see any 20m players out there on the pitch (well maybe KLP, Flemming and Greaves). Of course the academy does not come for free. Wonder what it does cost the club to run it

I’m still confused as to why we’re sticking with 1 lone striker, maybe in training the midfield is getting in to assist or the opposite player from where the cross is coming from is making it 2 up top, but for me, we look better when there’s 2 close together for long balls & crosses.
