Of course, I feel like it's my duty. If I die then you can all share my stuff.

    THE SHOEBOX
A man and woman had been married for more than 60 years. They had shared everything. They had talked about everything. They had kept no secrets from each other except that the little old woman had a shoe box in the top of her closet that she had cautioned her husband never to open or ask her about.

For all of these years, he had never thought about the box, but one day the little old woman got very sick and the doctor said she would not recover.

In trying to sort out their affairs, the little old man took down the shoe box and took it to his wife's bedside. She agreed that it was time that he should know what was in the box. When he opened it, he found two crocheted dolls and a stack of money totalling $95,000.

He asked her about the contents.
'When we were to be married,' she said, ' my grandmother told me the secret of a happy marriage was to never argue. She told me that if I ever got angry with you, I should just keep quiet and crochet a doll.'

The little old man was so moved; he had to fight back tears. Only two Precious dolls were in the box. She had only been angry with him two Times in all those years of living and loving. He almost burst with Happiness.

'Honey,' he said, 'that explains the doll, but what about all of this money? Where did it come from?'

'Oh,' she said, 'that's the money I made from selling the dolls.'

Apologies for the lack of updates in my fascinating office story, but I am now almost certain Suspect No 2 is not Selina.

Someone pointed to her desk (where she is no longer seated as she has gone home) and referred to it as "Rachanda's desk". Or something that sounded similar to that.

If that facepalm is because you described the plot of Dangerous Minds, I must confess I've never actually seen it. Just bits of it so I vaguely know what it's about but not enough to know the plot.

Protein shake is nasty enough in it's normal form.

Can confirm the cupcakes were disgusting and almost inedible. The cakes are solid on the outside and almost dough on the inside, and the icing on the vanilla ones tasted like pure butter while the protein shake ones were stringy and the sweetest thing I've ever tasted. Do not recommend.

Do you drink a lot of protein shakes? Ever had the vanilla one?

Does raise the question about care homes having the right to stop an adult doing what they like...even if it's bad for them.

Worse one you can have as it doesn't hide any of the protein taste. Chocolate is the best for shakes and making cakes, never tried cookie flavour tho.

Yeah this one is great, it has a protein shake aftertaste but the main taste you can't taste the protein at all.

Indeed. I think they overstepped their authority. Making a blanket decision to not allow pensioners out, almost certainly because many of them probably should not be allowed out, is far too authoritarian. Each person should be assessed on their abilities. I guess our D-Day veteran passed his own personal test.
