Maybe Joe's cat. Wouldn't that be an adventure?

My cat's asleep on top of the fridge. I'll let you know when she moves.

I was just thinking of an explanation for why your cat likes to sleep high off the floor. Dogs are usually a good excuse.

Another reason is so they can survey as much of their territory as possible. Though obviously she's not doing a lot of that while asleep.

Incidentally, I'm using Firefox on Win7 and I've noticed that the spell-checker-while-I-type doesn't work whether the bloody option box is ticked or not. That's useful to know.

Sort of on the subject, I found an add-on called Lazarus which remembers and autosaves what you're typing in comment boxes and stuff. If you've typed out a ton and accidentally close the page or whatever before you post (or it screws up somehow), you can reload the page, click the Lazarus icon, and it comes up with a history of all the things you've typed in your browser. One click and you've restored the comment you thought you'd lost. I use it a lot because I'm an idiot.

My cats (four of 'em) like to run along the top of my dresser, then along my wall units, and end up on my fridge. I used to have a cat, sadly no longer with us, who could jump across the doorway to the cupboards the other side, but none of my current cats are up to that. One of my cats, however, is able to open the kitchen door by hanging by both front paws on the handle. If I can catch him doing it on film, I'll put it on YouTube, it's quite a sight.

I honestly can't think of a time when there's been three worse party leaders.

    Bring back William Hague.

He's competing against Milliband nowadays, not Blair so he may win.

Ed Miliband, I think, is a decent guy who has the core Labour values of Social Justice; Equality; Public Services, in his heart. He has been badly advised, and unfortunately, the Labour party is almost unrecognisable from the traditional one. People like Blair and Mandelson, ruined the party in my view, and trust has been lost. Posing with The Sun will only alienate voters in Labour strongholds in the North West. A really poor decision.

Clegg should also be ashamed. Hillsborough is in his constituency in Sheffield Hallam.

She's gone outside. There's a bush she likes to chew. I'm wondering if it's catnip.

    Edit: the cat, not Selina.

Mr Hague strikes me as one of few cabinet ministers who isn't a complete dick and actually talks some sense sometimes.

    Along with perhaps Justine Greening.
