I thought he got his head turned by Chelski, a while back and though nothing came of that there has been a fair bit of speculation, he's had a good season so far due to the protection he's getting and it might have been the time to cash in on it.

Does anyone know why Begovic isn't playing or on the bench today, is he injured?

It's probably due to the way TP approaches the FA Cup. He has always picked Sorensen in goal with Nash on the bench so I am hoping that is his thinking again today.

I did think that Nash was on his way out of Stoke though and that perhaps Bego would be on the bench today but what do I know?

    Nah,
Nash is sub goalie, Begovic is O.K. Typical Tony F A Cup let's go for it IMO we don't need a re-play vs Palace. Are those BBC stats right? We Stoke NO shots on target?

Considering we had two ex England internationals with 16 goals between them playing together and we had no shots on goal WTF!!!!!

    These stats show the following:

    43% Possesion
1 shot on goal compared with their 5!

Our forward line today consisted of Kightly, Walters, Crouch & Owen, which was topped up with Adam, Jerome and Jones which even on a bad day isnt bad! So does this show have far we havent come, another dissaponting away day for Stoke and TP?

Smithers why do you always put posts with question marks?, say what u think, we were **** again, no idea going forward and midfield had no shape what so ever, I expect the barrage of people supporting TP but we were **** with IMO our best pairing of centre forwards outside the top 6 and were shockingly poor. I cant justify us playing well for 1 game out of 10 and staying in the prem.................please discuss and change my way of thinking (no offense smithers mate).

With the squad we have and the money we have spent we should be destroying teams like Crystal Palace, and yet it seems that they were the much better side?, oh well lets wait for Pulis to say "they are a very very very very very very very good side and we are just well ............****!, I am glad we got a replay". When they come to the Brit they will be a massive side and no doubt beat us but we will try our best as we do every game zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

    Well,
I did get my usual text from my 3 mates who we're there yesterday. Much the same as above, we we're **** first half, could have been at least 2 down at half time. 2nd half better, but not much better. YES Pulis tried to freshen it up, I listened to the game on radio.. but sadly, too little too late Mr P. As is the norm for away games whatever the opposition. And I know Palace are going well but IMO. No where near good enough. And, same old same old aftermatch interview from T.P.
"We expected a tough game, they are going well in the League" <doh> Well, why did'nt we SHOOT on target more than once? Because TP we never do. Pleased with a draw but it seem's from a Stokie's view it was somewhat painful to watch.

We should be beating teams like Palace for fun, we are supposed to be a premier league team with the said ambitions, we're more like a second hand car dealership!!

Holloway and Pulis are massive mates and when these two managers come together it always seems like we end up with a close game or a 0-0 bore draw.
Just hope we do them when we get them back at the Brit.

I actually don't think we are playing anywhere near as well as previous seasons as we were going to these kind of games before and winning. Even at Cardiff away with a mostly second string side 2 seasons ago we got a result. Steam rolled over Derby away last season in a similar game.
Swindon out classed and outplayed us in the league cup earlier this season, so Palace at home is still not a foregone conclusion!

Think Mr P is trying to get Walters on the pitch at all costs and we are losing shape over it, would also like to see a bit more drive from Crouch.

Always thought this and the same can be said for Adam and therein lies the problem. I dont think you can accomodate both.
