So Sharp's gone back to the Blunts. I for one wish him well, but hope he doesn't come back to haunt us
But surely it would be better to buy someone specialised in a role we require rather than just get a worse version of what we currently have.
How do you know he is worse look at Vardy when Leicester bought him for £1m I thought they were mad but they weren't were they!No this lad as all the attributes to become a very good aquisition he's tall scores goals and was their player of the year
No money, Blades are blunt in financial terms,, deal would have included them paying off Sharp's outstanding wages so he could leave costing us nothing and freeing up wages ... may be we get another loan player in Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
Morning Billy - That's what I meant, wage saving.... We didn't sign Drury who was a free agent so I assume we need to offload some in order to free up a wage or two while still sticking to within the ffp rules.
Any movement on Moro leaving although you'll want to keep him with Sharpe leaving, or at least get his (Moro's) replacement in before letting him go - assuming we get him?
Well how come, if he plays in the same position as Byram, aren't all the prem clubs looking at him instead of Byram? We aren't in need of money. It shows much more intent to everyone in and outside the club to keep our promising players rather than sell year on year, we won't progress if we keep doing this. I'm not even that big a fan of Byram but we need to turn the corner of selling our best players all the time.
Ok so anymore news as it's gone quiet down here although no news could be good news? Last we heard we were trying to raise the funds to do a deal by having a few car boot sales!
Can't see him wanting to play hoofball in league one with a bunch of part timrtd. If he has any self respect, he'll be aiming higher than that
Leicester didn't sell a huge prospect brought up from their youth academy for millions to a prem club then buy Vardy for nothing as a cheap replacement though did they? They kept what they had, built on it and knew they needed a striker and obviously scouted him enough to realise he was worth the 1m
What I am saying Josh is that if you look hard enough there are many Aldi Bargains in the lower leagues
Not denying that for one second. But I think we should keep our best players and add to them rather than selling them as soon as they are worth something and replacing them with essentially an unknown prospect. It sets us back a year everytime, this causes a cycle when we do it every year.
