Awful.
Best bowler of all time for me. Would have been a brilliant captain, would have been a brilliant coach, was a brilliant and insightful pundit and commentator.
Impossible hole to fill.

RIP Shane Warne. Irreplaceable giant of the game.

Not a cricket fan myself but shows how big of an impact he had on the sport when he is well known by people (like myself) who would barely know one end of a bat from the other. I remember whenever he appeared on "They think its all over" or the like back in the day he was always a big personality and clearly will be a huge loss to the sport.

No age either.

Probably right to day that

...I liked him as a cricketer and a commentator... but heart attack?
Do all heart attack suffers take coke?
Do all coke addicts suffer from heart attacks?

Massively disrespectful

What a cricketer.

I was at Trent Bridge in 2005 for that test when we made them follow on. Shane had party, by all accounts, mid test and couldnt see the ball for a duck. He said it was the only time he did that. The test, for an Englishman, was brilliant with Ponting caught sub and all sorts of shennanigans. England came out to knock of 100 and something and the quicks opened but when Warne came on he took 3 top order tockets in no time. He was motivated to make amends. He had every english brain scrambled, including mine. If he had opened the bowling I think he would have beat us.

He was a legend. RIP Shane lad. One of the great sportsman I have seen in the flesh.

I'm privileged to have watched him live. The greatest spin bowler the world has ever seen. Sad to hear this. RIP <rose>
Never saw him live. Was at Headingley 1993 but the Aussies batted all day - Waugh got a big hundred and Border got a ton. Was at the tour match at the Racecourse ground but Warne didn't play.
