    No thanks. We already have a surplus of 2nd and 3rd string strikers. He's fine, but certainly no improvement.

    We will have Lovenkrands, Ameobi and Best ahead of him I think and that is even before/ if we sign a new striker.

    Shane Long is better than anything we have at the minute.

    He didn't play well when Reading were in the Prem but he was mainly a sub, and was only a kid!

    He is a much better player now, and 23 in 45 in the Champ is class. How is it any logic that he won't continue to get 1 in 2?

    Carroll - 17 in 39 in the Championship, 11 in 19 for us in the Premiership.

    His record improved.
