After that, Long will be just as pissed as us lot.

I can't imagine him being happy with Clarke when he gets back to training with West Brom.

He should just walk out and ask for his contract to be terminated.

I don't think there's blame to throw at s or West Brom or Everton for that matter. It's just the way the system is. West Brom were (rightly) covering their options. If they got the extra player, we get Long, if they don't they need him.

It;s like when we ended up with JVOH, Ghilas and Atidore.

Having a small amount of money (in comparison with the more established clubs) and being tipped for relegation is a big hindrance to getting people in.

So I make that two moves we are waiting for official confirmation on. Shane Long's move from West Brom to Hull and Fabio Coentrao's move to Manchester United.

Both deals look dead - but there could still be time to sneak them in.

Coentrao has joined Man United.


Stop trying to make up for your epic **** up. Long deal is over. Dead. I's passed on. This deal is no more. It has ceased to be. It's expired and gone to meet its maker. It's a stiff. Bereft of life, it rests in peace. It's metabolic processes are now history. It's off the twig. It's kicked the bucket, it's shuffled off it's mortal coil, run down the curtain and joined the bleeding choir invisible. This is an ex-deal.
 
Oh well, Bruce has to work with what he's got until January now and hope this doesn't come back to bite us in the bum. I'm sure we'll all read tomorrow morning how gutted Bruce is that we weren't able to bring the striker we needed in but as he said, we have to be happy with the deals we have done. One thing is for sure though, money is/was available for a striker... thats what bothers me the most I think..

The Huddlestone & Livermore deal was better than anyone could have imagined and certainly improves our team immensely.

Lets get over this one and look forward to the Cardiff game.
 
my last post was directly from the BBC. No official confirmation from either club that the deal is off...

Doyle on 40k per week in League One, he wouldn't lower his wage, we wouldn't increase our offer. Everyone is happy, apart from Hull fans <ok>
