Confirmation from #hcafc that Long deal has not gone through. Gedo though has re-joined the club.

 

SSN reporting that WBA have missed out on Anichebe and Lukaku.

I'm guessing that a knock on effect means you've missed out?

West Brom didnt get the paperwork in for Anichebe in time but are still hoping the Premier League will sanction the deal as they have shown "intent to sign" and an agreement between the two clubs.

Wonder if that will come back to bite them on the backside?

Sadly. Steve Clarke pulled out right before the deadline. Shane Long was at our training ground for a good two hours waiting for it to be confirmed.
