Would not touch Borini for 14m.
Rhodes is a much better option.
Rhodes is unproven. He shouldn't really be an option imo.
Swapping a proven PL scorer for somebody who isn't?

Soton fans must be sick when you consider that they only got £4 mill for Lambert.
Whoosh... Folks are Dumb where I come from. What are you on about?
Actually... one option that would make a lot of sense is Ings from Burnley, since we were supposedly scouting them the other week against Blackpool.
Southampton fans reckon they went for Ings first (well second after Hernandez) but Burnley told them no. Surely we'd get the same answer.
was 319 when the story first broke, be nice if most of those people bothered to post instead of just reading
Is anyone getting the irrational fear tht Bruce's hand was forced to sell?
Every player has a price you would sell at, if £12M has been offered then I think it is good business for the club and hard to turn down.
£12m is a very good return to get on him but not with an adequate replacement lined up.
He will be hard to replace will Long, Sagbo is similar but not as threatening to the goal, not many about like long with the speed, strength and tenacity he offers as well as a bit of goal threat.
I was hoping he'd team up with Sagbo a bit this season it looked like it could make a fantastic partnership on Thursday.
It's f**ing madness, don't get me wrong I like the Irishman as a player and think he's a good fit in our team but how can there be a differential of £11.1m between Shane Long and Fraizer Campbell?
Sagbo is not similar to Long.
What's the point in making a profit on Long if you have to spend more on getting somebody else to replace him?
I'd keep him if possible.
