Jonas on the right, never know he actually might be a good crosser with his stronger right foot

I cant see starting Ferguson as a good idea.

First start of the season against United? Dont get me wrong, he looks like a great prospect but Pardew would be throwing him in at the deep end by starting him. I think people are calling for him because we are all sick of seeing bobblehead start, Pardew should play Ben Arfa on the right but he wont. Maybe because he cant see him put much tracking back work in.

I ****ing love Fergie, I'd let him cum in my arse. (This thread needed a Tash post, just filling the gap. <ok>)

In all seriousness, I loved Fergie last season and really surprised he hasn't seen much game time this season which is probably due to Sammy.
I remember watching Fergie last season and being amazed by his pace, the way he can beat a man and his excellent deliveries.

Fergie is great. He's more deserving of gametime than Sammy from what we've seen. Sammy just looks like Shola the second if i'm honest. Whereas Ferguson looks ****ing good.

One thing's for sure, after Man Utd's last game SAF will be taking no chances, they're going to be coming at us full force on Wednesday.
A draw simply won't do for them now!

We gave Sammy his first ever start awat to Man City and he coped. Ferguson has also played away to Chelsea (twice) so I'm sure he coulde handle the occassion. Only problem I see is if he is too fragile to finish the game and hasn't bulked up enough yet.

If we're gonna play long ball tactics and sit in our own half, then yeah it's the best lineup, with Shola supporting Ba. Also Jonas has been really poor by the standards he set last season. Even against Bolton he didn't have much to do defensively yet he rarely got forward. And with Obertan out, I'd certainly put Ferguson who has a bit of pace on the left to help us on the counter ... Raylor has been getting a lot of stick for his defensive performances but you can't overlook his assists against Bolton and Pool. So yeah I'd stick him on the right.

I really rate Ferguson much more than Sammy, every time he played last season he looked like he was already first team quality. Frighteningly good potential and if he isnt going to get games now then he needs to be loaned out ASAP.

    Experience: Ferguson > Sammy
    Technique: Ferguson > Sammy
    Pace: Ferguson > Sammy
    Intelligence: Ferguson > Sammy
    End product: Ferguson > Sammy
    Potential: Ferguson > Sammy

    Nuff' said.

I've seen nothing to suggest Sammy should be ahead of Ferguson in any game this season. Fergie at Chelsea proved he's already ready for our first team.

Exactly, and he's just an out and out winger with a good cross as well, no ****ing about with trying to beat his man (Obertan) or playing on his weaker foot (Jonas, Sammy). I really wish we'd play him more, and not at full back.
