and we tax payers have to pick up the tab for her? No thanks mate she’s a vile scumbag and can rot in her **** hole.
dealing with this filth in this way sends out a message. Piss off to join terrorists and you don’t come back and see your family again. As you know mate, family in the Middle East is very important. btw I’m a fan of rendition too. Play outside of the law.. be dealt with outside of the law. Scum give up their rights when they align themselves with mass murders. If I were M16 I’d have just made her disappear. Double tap to the temple.
By not having a passport that means she's not British? Means between the age of 19 and 24 I was not a British citizen then
Not true. She has lost her right to come back in person and fight her appeal against the removal of her citizenship, she hasn’t lost the right to appeal, albeit for obvious reasons that’s now been made much more difficult.
Aye I based that on not reading the story properly. Cardinal mistake. I read the full story. She can appeal in person but is prevented from doing so.
If its a cost issue then why not extend the policy to all Brits who commit serious crimes in other countries? Immediately remove their citizenship so we don’t have to bother providing consular assistance, lobbying governments not to execute them where the death penalty is in place. My argument isn’t that she didnt commit a serious crime but that it should be our responsibility to sort it as she (is) was one of ours. By doing that we can help stabilise the area and don’t penalise another country for what she did.
Giving her a cushy cell in the Uk won’t stabilise the region Jak. But locking her out is a deterrent to all the other idiots who twist Islam to justify mass murder and terrorism and if it stops just one of these simpletons from hopping on a plane to go murder more in the Middle East or further afield then I personally don’t see an issue. my genuine preference is for our security services to never let it get to this stage and deal with known terrorists the quick and clean way. That’s what many other countries do surely?
But the point Jak is making is that she is from this country and IS (the cowards) are not a recognised country to which you can change citizenship. Hence she was and is still British. Why should Syria have to put up with her when she wasn’t invited in in the first place. I would have her locked up for life and basic conditions and no release until deemed safe but I would be extremely difficult to convince on that point. She may be there for life as far as I was concerned. I value the “human rights” of 60,000,000 + people ahead of the “human rights” of 1 person.
Doli incapax wouldn't apply. Whether we like it or not, you have criminal responsibility for your actions at 15. She is a criminal who wouldn't think twice about murdering us and our families.
She was 18 when she continued with that path. She was, I believe, over 18 yo when “found” in the camp. I haven’t seen anywhere a retraction of her views rather the living conditions are nicer here than where she currently is. I’m concentrating on the time when she was an adult and did not act in a way contrary to her earlier behaviour to show a change in beliefs from the extreme terrorist views which caused her to run away in the first place. Not even now.
She was clearly brain washed and as a young 15 year old who was very susceptible to it and the brain washing would have been significant and continuous. She wouldn't have just turned 18 and the brain washing disappeared. She should be brought back then tried in a law of court.
