This thread is total jokes.
As a few observations:
1) Syd was right to mock the mags - they lost.
2) Whenever the above happens, we are vulnerable, because we also lose a lot.
3) Not a great weekend for football in the NE...
4) Syd has changed posting style since he had to mod - fair play because he's probably having a lot more fun now.
5) Completely agree with Disco (not the first time i've said that either... bloody love leo sayer)...
We can't have a board that allows NUFC fans on, and then slate the fact that they are on here, whilst also singing the praises of a mixed board vs a single team board (which is also great)
We can finish above them this season (again) and then tear into them a hundred times over

This is a good thread mate. Talking about Sunderland, bit of random banter, no abuse, no wum's. What safc is and should be all about!
I think Sunderland can easily finish above Newcastle this season, we can't both keep playing as badly as we have been. Sunderland seem to have got better in their past few games and results will follow, I suspect you'll be above us in a month and then it'll be a case of whether Newcastle ever wake up and play football again. Sunderland will be 8-12th, Newcastle could be anywhere 7th-17th!!
I honestly don't think either team will be worried end of season.
What does matter is we both need a run of results as soon as possible, to ease the tension.
