They've been voting with their hoofs for a while now, Drew. Check out the green seat brigade at the Methadrome. All Lawell does when the pressure is on is release a Lisbon Leopards DVD and the monobrowed simpletons lap it up like a Priest in a kids home. Thick as mince these ****s..
Karagandy were certainly up for it which was to be expected. I couldn't believe how much energy and movement was lacking in our players, apart from Kris Commons but as I've said earlier I believe the temperature was somewhere in the low 30'sC which would account for it in part. The game plan, of course, backfired bigtime but then again it happens to all teams and managers at times so while I'm as annoyed as everyone else I reckon that apart from letting off some steam, as is being done on here, I'll just keep the faith and look forward to seeing if we can redeem things next week ... though I think that while Karagandy rode their luck a bit yesterday, they also did it over two legs with Bate and may well simply do to us what we've done to bigger teams in the past as well.
I can accept the game plan not working. However what concerned me was the lack of change or attempt to change until too late. We've known for years Samaras is not a striker. Balde Stokes or even Watt should have played and Sammy on the wing
Balde was bought to change the way Celtic played against teams who sat in ... He was brought on late in the second half when it was too late! Tactically, Lennon mades an arse of it.
