Bow; can I ask a question (still not looking for the job) is it hard to be a mod & NOT respond to the invasionista?

I'm fairly new so I don't know how long the present mods have done the job or how outspoken they were before they took it up.

I mean take the last couple of months. Is this site remotely fun for you? Or am I just in the wrong threads lol.

I was on when the GC plague descended & it wasn't fun; how the hell do you as a LFC fan bite the lip & do the job.

Just think this is something anyone looking to do it needs to consider; I know I couldn't.

I stopped the cross threads with my actions though (with a little help from Bozz), which is what I wanted so am happy with that. Don't want the job back though too many things have pissed me off lately I just want to come on here when I want to and not feel I have to come on here.

Fair play, seems the place runs unmoderated at present. Makes for good entertainment though.

It's harder than you would think as this board gets more **** than any other and you have to remember that it's not the old bbc 606, people are allowed opinions. It's not just deleting stuff, you end up trying to manage wums (well I did anyway) I used to spend ages trying to appeal to their better nature, which does work.

Whoever gets it should not take it lightly you need to be on here a lot.

B4F, Bozz and Ze may have a different view as we all do it differently.

Precisely why i dont want it frank,i'd cause more problems than i solved,and the issue of banning serial wums should be looked at by Syd because mods should have the right to give a warning and a ban if they persist with wumming on the boards.

Thing is the twats know the limitations of the mods powers.

I didn't ask for a ban until I had done the mod job for about 7 or 8 months, there are other much more evil ways.

I think Bozz an Ze Liverbird are hardly here, and Bow seems a bit overwhelmed perhaps trying to control everything (perhaps to hard) I tried to offer my services as an unpaid volunteer and got attacked by a few. Still, you find out who's who pretty quick.

And I maintain, I would have done a good job, I have a **** load of responsibility in my working life, so sure deleting a few posts and showing a little diplomacy, would have been a breeze.

Guess a couple of people who fancied it themselves felt threatened so took a cheap shot.

I read the bit where you were arguing and creating a problem where there really wasn't one.

Its hardly out of order saying you aren't suitable to be a mod.

Mate; you have showed how much you care about the board by volunteering and individual issues aside aired tonight I did vote for you but;

You're a bit like me & Page: you'd be miserable having to play diplomatic with the twats that come on here. Luv might say they all do things differently but the one thing all 3 (4)have rarely done if at all (in my time anyway) is react to provocation.

Don't think Baz would be Baz if he felt he couldn't unleash the beast every now & then! :)

Doesn't mean I don't still have great respect for Liverpool and their fans, but I do think the wallowing in offence/grief perception is spot on. We don't have an annual memorial service for our fans, we just do it once every decade. Hillsborough could have been handled in a more dignified way by Liverpool fans.

Not sure why you're raking that up here of all places, but as you please.
