If it is capable of marking key moments in our future will it mark City's eventual victory in the Champion's League or keep it secret to avoidvspoilingbthe surprise and impacting on ticket sales?
One of my all time favourite Private Eye covers. On par with Basil d'Olivera shaking hands with the Queen and Nobby Stiles and Alan Ball in a defensive wall on England duty.
I assume it'll act as some sort of timepiece, indicating specific times of the day. Just hope the designers know that Dinner Time round here is the early afternoon and not early evening as defined by some barbarians.
I always liked one they did showing John Pilger's typically biased ant US pro USSR attitudes. Despite Pilger's being a contributor.
The planning committee have just voted unanimously to refuse permission for Shadow Gate. Well done planning committee.
angus young @angus_young61 Worth recalling Shadow Gate (and its proposed location) was commissioned by the city council. Now refused planning by the council. It looks like it will still go ahead, as it seems the council have committed £300k to having it built, suggestions for a new site included Queens Gardens, the southern end of Princes Dock or the Marina.
There's got to be somewhere to store unwanted foul pipes. It's not like the East Riding where they just dump ****e like that in the fields or one of the many, many ramshackle and derelict buildings that litter the countryside. They can even empty them on the road. If I could be arsed, I'd maybe start a thread about goings on in the East Riding and beyond, be they real or hyped up..but I can't.
