He's an easy target. It's convenient for people to blame him. no-one really has any clue what he does, nor hwo much legacy ****e he has to deal with, but I'm sure he's not sitting on his arse like many seem to suspect. It's not his fault that 2 quality targets failed a medical.
Lombaerts, Fer, M'Vila, Kaboul, Lens..... Wickham sold for 9m. Not bad for a director of football clearly working on a restricted budget, like has been said, not his fault two players failed a medical.
We wouldn't get him for that price though, we would have to pay about 8-10m and I'd want better for that amount of money.
