Wow. Just wow. 52 years supporting Leicester and this was the best ever. Every player 10/10 (Albrighton & Fuchs 11). The atmosphere immense.
Wow!!! What a performance to a Man Fuchs was outstanding . The confidence will be massive after this. Barca next?
Unbelievable night at the KP ... words rarely fail me but they do now ...just look at those names in the last 8
Don't want to be the one to pizz on your chips but any thoughts on Vardy last night . Was playing great and yet clearly dived / exaggerated contact to win the free kick leading directly to the goal and then goes down pathetically when BOTH touched heads to get Nasri sent off . Sorry that's just cheating , plain and simple . Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
What a brilliant brilliant day. Watched it live and its one of those screaming at the tele days. Went back to work in a dream. Every single one of them was magnificent. I have say though what a miserable sod Graeme Souness is. You would think everyone would say well done but no he has to have a moan and dig.
Don't worry, you haven't ... our chips are fine. Vardy was great ... he makes defenders commit ... they need to time the challenges so they get the ball. As for Nasri - absolutely no sympathy ... he could have easily picked up a second yellow way before then ... and his first was a very nasty hack at Ndidi. When the heads came together - and Nasri was the agressor .. the outcome was a no brainer - no cheating there ... no need for Nasri to go up to Vardy ... end of.
That was back to last season's best .... high intensity and some stunning one touch stuff. Every player played out of their skin like their lives depended on it... even Mahrez was playing like he wanted it. Deserves to be in the team on that performance. The band of brothers team spirit is definitely back. Loving it. Well done, Shakey.
Nasri shouldn't have faced upto Vardy full stop, he knew he was on a yellow and any off the ball incidents are going to end in another yellow, Vardy got booked too, its not like Vardys reaction got him off the hook. As for the other challenge, he won the ball and the other player slid in after, exactly the same as what happened for their penalty. If Vardys wasn't a free kick, theirs wasn't a penalty.
Mahrez was superb last night ... as they all were ... the weight on his free kick for the first made it incredibly difficult to defend against ... it was from his cross being headed out that the ball fell to Albrighton for the second ... and the run in which he slipped the most perfectly timed and weighted pass to Vards for what should have been the third was sublime...
Vardy didn't go down - did stagger back like he was pushed by Di Canio though. It was rather pathetic and both players got carded for acting like pricks - is just that Nasri was already on a yellow and should have known better then to act that way. Was it cheating? I would argue that it is gamesmanship - cheating would be like Suarez diving all over the place in the PSG game trying to con the ref while here both players got punished.
Champions League: Juventus want to avoid Leicester in quarter-finals - Buffon http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/39274973 Can't believe that European royalty are scared of little Leicester!
In defence of going to ground easily, there have been quite a few cases recently where penalties should've been given but weren't because the player stayed on his feet and tried to take a shot. It's now got to the point that, unless a player hits the ground he won't be given a free-kick or pen. and it looks like the Claudio firing has been vindicated
