Swansea are on the same amount of points as us and yet they are talking about Rogers as Manager of the Season. He might well be of course so I assume everyone else thinks Swansea are safe on 39 so logic says we are as well. Next weeks fixtures may well settle it once and for all. The bottom teams have either hard fixtures or are playing each other. I don't expect anything from Spurs but Everton, with one eye on the Cup against Liverpool, may be a win. After Saturday it may well be 14 clear with 6 to play, game over.
I see a point against the Toffees, one against Liverpool and a win against Villa (providing they are safe if not then a draw) and the rest will all be defeats I'm afraid. In saying that we'd have all taken above 40 points at the beginning of the season so let's hope we can at least get a point on Saturday against one of the best "form" teams in the league right now. Should be a cracking game !
