Why do people have to criticise world class players of other teams just to try and sound like some sort of football genius?
Perhaps it's simply my honest opinion? Ever consider that bombshell? Maybe great players still have weaknesses? Chesney is young, sometimes his decision making is a little rash. He's comes racing out when he shouldn't do. However, he's 6'5" and very commanding of his area. You'll very rarely see him come for an aerial ball at a corner or cross that he doesn't retrieve or at least get a solid punch on. Reina is more suspect in this manner. I'm sorry if I'm ruining your idea of the perfect Reina, but if he was "World Class" he'd be 1st choice for Spain, which he is not. He's class, great penalty saver, great shot stopper, but he isn't World Class, any more than Wilshere is.
I think the only problem with your claim that Reina doesn't command his box is that he doesn't usually have to. Carra is in front of him most of the time, and god save anyone who tries to take authority from Carra.
So Fabregas wasn't world class at Arsenal, because he wasn't starting for the national team? One of Aguero, Tevez, Higuain isn't world class because they don't start for the national team? I've watched Reina for 6 years and I can assure you he's very commanding of his area, one of his main problems at the moment is saving penalties, so I'm not sure how you can claim he's a great penalty saver, when he's only saved about two (one of which went in on the rebound) since the 2007 shootout against Chelsea. Have you even watched him play?? I must say, I don't remember Reina conceding 8 goals with us either.

I think you find that the majority of the intelligent posters have been comparing the squads, not the league positions. Also, look up the term 'deluded'.
That's what I'd say. I'd say to be "World Class" you have to have the ability to walk into any team in the world, and so be part of their squad. Ronaldo would, Messi would. Would you rate Reina as one of the top 2 goalkeepers in the world? I wouldn't rate Fabregas as in the top 2 attacking midfielders. Top 5 yes, top 2 probably not.
Watch the Man Utd game, Chesney is at fault for at most 2 of the goals. Reina has a good penalty saving reputation - saving 3 out of 4 in the 2006 FA Cup Final, and 2 out of 3 against Chelsea in the Champions League. He may not have had the opportunity to do so again that recently, but his reputation is still one of being a good penalty saver.
