    I have spent most of today trying to contact an insurance firm to try and cancel the public liability insurance i took out for my new business that was supposed to be opening on Monday. A cafe/coffee shop would you believe!

    Anyhoo, ended up just sending out emails and cancelling DD payments at the bank.

    If they don't like it...**** em!

    Not at all. Truth is the place isn't ready to open anyway. The extra time will give us the chance to get everything just so. Plus we have no overheads apart from the lease and I've managed to get 7 months at 50%.

    When this shìt blows over we will be ready to open. It's the places that are having to close down that have a major problem.

    Not a bad time to do preparation for a new business at the moment - people have far more time on their hands and loans are available at low rates.

    Terrible time to start most businesses though!
