It's weird how we never score from corners and free kicks. It isn't a new thing, this thread pops up every now and then. I remember it being discussed back in the Pearson/Barmby days when Hobbs went up for every corner but hardly ever scored. Snodgrass has an excellent free tick technique so he'll get one before long, and Maguire is surely gonna score a header at some point too.
Could be wrong but im sure maguire has missed about 5 sitters from set pieces, at least it feels like it. Rotherham for one sticks in my mind.
