I know it's stupid to get rid of our most productive player people say he only players occasionally well that's ok with me cause the others don't play at all

Before we "sell" to West Brom - we should read back on Arsenal's selling of RVP to one of their rivals and look how that ended up - selling a player abroad for good money is one thing - selling him to a rival in the league is stupidity IMO - Sessegnon is a quality player and a replacement of the same quality would cost well over £10m - replacing with Borini - Hope I'm proved wrong but he's not half the player Sessegnon is!!

Still ****ing over sess are we LOL your cock must be sore.

Its called supporting a player, you should try it instead of slating PDC and every player we have on the books.

Your not a fan, never will be, your dead to Sunderland and every poster on here would probably second that.

Simple fact is we are selling of top scorer over the last 2 seasons and replacing him with a loan signing, who is quite good actually but not a replacement for an attacking midfielder.

You can almost be certain it will come back and bite our arse if he goes to WBA and keeps them up.

I don't slate all of the sunderland players tho. I only slate the **** ones. selling sess & replacing him with Borini is a joke & by the way I don't rate Borini either. very bad day for being a sunderland fan in my opinion.

You mean Ki yeah? Cause he is an AM.

Doesn't any body get it?
Sess has gone deep undercover to tie up the WBA transfer machine.
When he doesn't sign later tonight they won't have time to find an alternative

Ki isnt an attacking midfielder, hes the deep ball player that spreads the play PDC has wanted, read the article on the echo website where PDC speaks about him. If he was attacking midfielder he didnt score 1 goal in 38 games last season for Swansea but I am sure he will sit deep in the middle spreading play and its up to the wide men to support the strikers (4-2-4 that PDC keeps talking about).

I was talking about Borini, who I think is a good signing for us but not at the expense of Sessegnon.

Surprised to see Sess so out of favour to be honest.

Last season you had a few players who came out of the season with credit despite the team overall looking poor, of those it seemed Mig, Fletch, Rose and Sess were the star performers.

Rose was always going back to Tottenham given how well he played and you have decent cover for Mig so that was good money but losing Sess seems unnecessary.

Up at Newcastle we have absolutely nothing to gloat about as regards transfers this summer but if I were a Sunderland fan I would be looking at the new signings and thinking they need a few of them to perform from the off as it isn't just the poor players who are being cleared out at the moment.

Seems a high risk strategy and although I would back you to be ok this season I can't see it being a smooth ride.

Good luck and I hope for your sake that Sess doesn't go.

most fouled player in the premier league last season.

Shows how much emphasis other teams put on taking him out of the game imo.

Major dissapointment if we sell him for me, especially to another prmier league club

Go and ask all the celtic fans who watched him play AM his whole Celtic career and all the Swansea fans who felt he was out of position in the deeper role as he excelled in the AM when Laudrup did play him there.

Mate, Borini is a pacy strong out and out striker, there's no way he's Sess' replacement. Completely different players in different positions. Plus Paolo has repeatedly stated since Jozy signed that he wants another striker. Another striker has always been on the shopping list.

Christ man. If you're gonna protest and pass judgement at least get your facts right.

False facts all over the board today, it's dreadful.

Can't say I am happy he is going. Fine if you replace with someone better but the whole situation stinks of desperation.

I didnt say he was Sess's replacement but it looks like we are selling Sess and getting Borini, hes not his replacement but that is just the facts, unless we bring in another attacking midfielder.

Obviously Borini isnt a like for like with sess, jesus I aint that stupid.

Regarding Ki, we wont play him as an attacking midfielder so its irrelevant he played there for Celtic, PDC has brought him in to play the man with the keys role.

That I agree with. Sick of player being played out of position me.

We're all agreed that Sess is one of the best players we've ever had. It also seems to be universally agreed that he's too inconsistent.

Sitting and contemplating why he'd leave us for WBA instead of a bigger club it dawned on me , the bigger clubs won't carry passengers in the hope that he'll pull something special out of the bag. Arsenal , Spurs , Chelsea , City and United all have **** loads of cash , but not one of them was linked with Sess.

That's because he's found his level at West Brom . Sess will show flashes of genius , but he will frustrate in equal measure.
