One of the most selfish things anyone can do IMO. Can ruin so many lives in a split second.

Not going to lie though in my idiotic youth i did it once. Was totally ashamed of myself when i woke up the next morning, enough to quit the beer for about a year.

Can we sell him overseas now he has to answer bail in the uk?

No reason why not. He would have to return to the uk to face charges. It would have to be pretty bad for him to be imprisoned. he would get a court appearence a fine and a ban and he could probably plead guilty and get off with appearing. He can't lose his license as he wont have a UK one. Maybe better for him to play in an arab country at least it's harder to get pissed.

He's made a mistake. Fortunately no one was hurt. We've all made mistakes in one way or another in life. He will get fined and if he doesn't do it again just move on and get on with things. Gonna go a bit off topic now but its a particular gripe of mine people living in the past harping on about the 80's, 70's or the ****ing 60's, what's wrong with now, you can only live today and it's best to live life looking forwards imo. Sorry about that moan btw.

Sunderland forward Stephane Sessegnon has been charged with drink-driving, Northumbria Police have confirmed.

The 29-year-old was stopped by police while his team secured a 4-2 victory over MK Dons in the League Cup second round last night.

The Benin-born forward has been charged today and will appear at Newcastle Magistrates' Court to answer the charge on October 4.

Black Cats manager Paolo Di Canio has taken a tough stance on his players since he arrived at the Stadium of Light towards the end of last season.

It remains to be seen whether the Italian will take any disciplinary action against Sessegnon, but the former Swindon Town boss has snubbed Phil Bardsley from the club following a couple of incidents, which began with the defender being photographed in a casino.

Very sad & Stupid of Sess.

He will get his hand smacked, band from driving & a pay a big fine.

If PDC does let him go I just hope we get a replacement in.
