this is almost exactly as I have heard, plus the loan does have interest - don’t go up = can’t service the loan = fpp get at their price, go up with this funding then get sd price (plus the 9 mill is invested in the club) win - win for fpp and like u say Donald is backing himself. I fear (for him) he won’t come out on top but either way we get new owners next season.

Sat watching Liverpool game seeing them go 8 points clear thinking thats that then then look at League one and see we are the same amount off top.

Thing is though in our league we don't have Liverpool who are going to win every game so the table changes a lot. We just need a few key signings and start stringing some results together. Not back to back I mean like 5 on the bounce and probably find yourself at the top of the table or thereabouts.

You are spot on here IMO. SD overvalued us as a certainty L1 promotion team. FPP said 'hmm not sure buddy, prove you're right and we'll give you your asking price, otherwise we'll pay less. In the meantime here's £9m to sort out the long term infrastructure e.g. scouting etc'

That ross left behind a clearly unfit team of mainly dwarves doesnt help. Add expensive non scoring strikers..
The break should help immensely and after that we can get a clearer picture if PP will cut the mustard.

Right if Charlie said 'it will never be a take over', maybe he means the current agreement they have, and is being silent on the potential of another one later (as it might not happen). - but again, this is all just guesswork in the absence of any definitive statement from the club. If it will never be a take over, we are back to the question of why bother putting in 9M for cash back or only a partial stake, instead of just walking away and buying someone else?
