i like that team, Tufan and Pelkas should definitely be on his wavelength. You can definitely see Slater/Coyle/Elder/Jones struggling with it…

Agreed. I felt like Slater was above the others in terms of quality and I really want him to do well, but he’s started to go missing a little bit, compared to how he started the season.

I'd say Seri is our best on the ball player and the only one capable of threading the ball through the eye of a needle. Concidering we get over run in the middle of the park nearly every game it seems madness to only really play him when the game has gone away from us.

I really like Seri. His quick, forward thinking passes are a joy to watch. The problem is, the players around him aren’t as quick in thought. He definitely needs to play higher up the pitch though. For the next game, I would go:

Baxter
Coyle Jones Greaves Elder
Docherty
Seri Tufan
Pelkas and Sinik on the wings
Oscar up top.

I like it, thr only question for me is are the wingers gonna get back and muck in. Not that we have many better options at present.

I definitely think it’s time we considered giving Jones another go in midfield. It’s crying out for a bit of defensive work in there.

Only issue is, who you replace him at the back with. Am I right in thinking Greaves and Macca was ruled out because they are both the same foot?

Plenty of teams play with two right footed centre backs

Seri did better when he come on against Huddesfield then he did in his feeble showing against Swansea. Both him and woods looked bright in my opinion. Do think there’s possibly something in him not wanting to be here however.

Lazy useless not interested Seri.... he simply should start and we will control more games. The hard working English bias trope needs to be left in the dust.
What are seeing in those stats? Looks like someone who is playing safe to protect his stats to me? We need goals, that is what he should be providing, the key passes

I’ve not read this thread but there’s no way we have a team good enough to warrant seri on the bench. We just haven’t found a compliment of players to put around him. the day we don’t need him is the day we are cruising in the pl

Playing safe? Can you see the key pass stat? that indicates chance creation or moving the ball into advanced positions. I am in disbelief you'd come out with something like that when Seri is easily the midfielder who looks to break the lines more then any other and he has created our most chances.....

Before changing his mind to come here wasn't he looking for a last big payday in somewhere like Saudi Arabia? I just hope he has ambition still.
