You've said you've disagreed but you've actually agreed with me! He doesn't need to be replaced but there's a time if we progress that we may need to reconsider. Eg an Everton type club would be looking to improve on him but we don't need to, we have to improve lots of other places first.
I agree with you on this Grifter, especiallly the last bit. I'd add that replacement where necessry should be done gradually if possible, unlike Hughes summertime pensioners gathering - most were too old and also too many at once! I think we do need cover at least for Simpson at RB, certainly IF Ned is going to play mainly CB, and I'd like then that cover to be someone better at getting forward than Simpson is, but Aurier is no "cover" player now.
