Didn't realise he was married to Sally Geeson. Not quite as good as Judy but would still have got one at the time.

When I think of her though, I, unfortunately, also think of that bell-end Robin Askwith.

How was he regarded back-in-the-day? As a little **** I hope.

Went to Spain in 1973. Everywhere you went you heard this. Funny that a song about California brings back memories of Spain.

Never heard of him until today. Bloody great clip and leads me to explore more. Too bad I was unaware of him when he was alive. Thanks for sharing. ktf

Yep. For me it's like discovering one of the legends of soul that had somehow past you by.

I'd recommend to anyone watch the documentary soul of America.

Can't tell you how many times I got grit in my eyes watching it.
