I don't care what Roy does any more- and as I don't care for the national team much, they make a good match.

 

Its really impressive really, Woy has achieved exactly what he always wanted. He's lowered expectations to such a level where nobody cares anymore. Takes the pressure off him cause he knows no matter how **** England are nobody cares, add to that he knows England is his last job and unless he get to the QF's he's effectively going to retire next July.

Beating San Marino is like beating the year 7 team at school when you're in year 11 and qualifying for this Euro's is like getting past the bouncers at Wetherspoons.

 

These games really are pointless. They make a joke out of international caps and goal tallies for the big nations when they can rack them up against cannon fodder in this way.
A waste of everyone's time when we could have been getting on with the serious business of being rubbish in the league.

Their team is pretty **** tbh, best two players are past it and on the Turkish retirement tour, the rest are very young or overrated. They're one of the big teams that I think even England could beat.

Beckham banging on about Rooney playing for another 5 years, yeah right. There is no way Rooney is going to be able to last another 5 years he's already on the down slope, he's not the type of player that will last a long time.

5 years playing football perhaps, but only 3 or 4 of those will be decent and can see the last couple of them being a bench player.

Only reason he still gets into the England team is because he's captain, who wouldn't start Kane over Rooney these days?
