Slightly harsh - yes there was a lot of strong stuff towards the yes campaign but a couple of "guests" on the yes side (not BB) were equally as vitriolic. It's not always just the nasty English you know.

Regardless, I, like many others, really miss BB's contributions on here and hope he comes back.

Very sad if that was the case..... a lot of us have rubbed along on this board for a number of years.... we may be in trouble of losing more folk this way.... Football is what unites us <ok>

It is easy for the written word to carry an emotion and implication that the spoken doesn't.

Fifa president Sepp Blatter has been provisionally suspended for 90 days.

Members of Fifa's ethics committee met this week after the Swiss attorney general opened criminal proceedings against Blatter, 79, last month.

He is accused of signing a contract "unfavourable" to football's governing body and making a "disloyal payment" to Uefa president Michel Platini, 60.

Swiss Blatter, who has run Fifa since 1998, and Platini, who wants to succeed him, deny any wrongdoing.

Hopefully it's all beginning to unravel for Bloater and FIFA. There was another report today on the radio that one of the FIFA reps from Asia (who is suspended) is trying to take Bloater to court for millions - it's going to spiral out of control and take a lot down with it. I suspect that the Swiss government will get involved before it gets just too embarrassing. Will good to see that bastard Platini go down as well - why did he wIt 9 years to get paid?

Hopefully nothing I said as I sat firmly in the No camp and opposed strongly Salmonds campaign and continue to fight the SNP for a prosperous Scotland for the Scottish people within a United Kingdom. I thought we all managed to agree to differ and avoid getting personal and use our combined age, experience and maturity combined with a common love for our club in order to bring often opposing viewpoints to the table in the hope that we can convert others to our way of thinking but accepting that is not always possible or indeed right......

    Politics threads always cause arguments.
The longer you go without posting, the less you feel the need to do so.
I also hope Leonardo and his wife are ok.

Let's hope FIFA gives us back the millions we wasted on our bid for the already decided 2018 bid!

    I won't hold my breath!

Serves them right Dave - they must have had an idea of what was going on even if they did not know all the gory details...

Suspended Fifa president Sepp Blatter is in hospital after what has been described as a "small emotional breakdown". Clearly he checked his bank account and found that no additions had been made lately. :emoticon-0127-lipss

I have no sympathy for him.... and it is so common for people to have 'psychatric' problems when they have done such things... or develop dementia etc
