well then it's hardly the guy's fault if he punches someone, and that person falls and whacks himself on a kerb. It could happen to anyone. I've punched people, they've gone down, but so far all kerbs have been avoided.

I agree. That's just showing the situation to look worse than it is. No point doing a segregation act.

It's amazing the depths some people will sink to. Boycotting the sport? I'm sorry, are these professional athletes, or small children with sensitivity issues? Warnock is an idiot.

Surely you should think about the consequences too, seeing as how it would be you that went to prison if they were killed (or even seriously injured)?

But it's more likely than it is if you just punch someone.

Exactly. This guy had his life ruined and he didn't even go too far. So if you do go too far, become vindicative and kill/paralyse someone over something ridiculous, you deserve any punishment you get.

I agree warnock is an idiot

Not sure if boycotting a sport is wrong though. Depends on the circumstances. If you feel strongly about something then IMO fair enough

I remember when some england players were getting abuse when sven was in charge (wright phillips etc) , They always talk about fining the club or a countries FA, how about stopping the game?

would send out a real message imo

I would happily take punishment in some circumstances

You're an idiot then. You'd leave your 6 kids with a prison-bird father for over 10 years, for the sake of an insult? You don't deserve to have kids if that's your attitude.

    But if the black players were to boycott the sport, it would make a mockery of;

    A) Football
    B) Race relations.

They need to think carefully, we all suffer abuse every now and then, maybe they can take it on the chin. People resorting to racism shows a lack of class and decency, and if anyone did it to me, i'd laugh it off and feel superior to the abuser.

If you let abuse get to you, then you're weak minded.

It doesn't depend how you look at it. You would be taking someone's life, taking some kid's dad from them perhaps. Also leaving your kids without a father-figure and open to insults about their murderer father. All because of something someone said?!?

And what the **** has dying over oil got to do with it? You'd never join the British Army due to your beliefs and you don't live in a country susceptible to attack over oil so why would that ever be a potential pitfall for you anyway.

You're talking some **** today Fan, even for you.

depends how you look at it

There are some things no one needs to take/accept.

If a black guy and a white guy are walking down the street and a skinhead with swastika tattoos is coming towards you, its easier for the white guy to 'not give him time of day'.

thats based on a true story
