Do any of you girls really give a damn about the merits of one shopping centre over another?? As long as he gives 100% every time he pulls on a Town shirt I dont give a toss about what he thinks of any town or city anywhere, why do you? For christs sake grow some and quickly.

Probably, but it's not really an overly significant game on our calender. The games that are closer to us are derbies (Sheffield Wednesday, Huddersfield, Barnsley), but even those aren't really close, we are the only team in the county in our league. The hardcore away fans who go week in week out will be there, but it'd be remiss of any of us to admit that we sell out every away end.

You are just unfortunate to live in an area that has teams at different levels, your closest game is Brighton and that's about 125 miles.

I see that Geography isn't one of your strong points Tommy!

Crystal Palace, Millwall, Peterborough, Watford, Charlton are all closer to us than Brighton <ok>

Allow me to put this into perspective.

A young footballer - not particularly successful or well known, but still a reasonable acquisition - arrives in Ipswich, looks around the town centre shops and thinks 'this place is a dump'. He then posts his thoughts online.

How has this generated 4 pages of comments on here, let alone made the press?

Personally I couldn't give a toss what McLean thinks about Ipswich, as long as he can play football. I'm hardly likely to think 'Christ! He's right! I must immediately move house, or at least shop somewhere else!'.

I'm just shocked how this non-story has grown wings.

I'm shocked at how little anyone on here cares. Just shows how little most of us expect now.

And I don't know how he can be described as 'young'?
