JWM - you see why it makes me so angry? You start to get all this kind of ****. Ipswich Town players should be ambassadors for the town. The whole place is a laughing stock since Evans took over.
On a footballing note Aaron McLean will always give you 100%. Strong as an ox, can leap like a salmon, and scored a stunning goal for Hull City at Peterboro last season, he has scored more then one obviously but that one was special. Overhead kick into the top corner. Genuine bloke who was very popular with the other players and he has a relation (brother?) who is a famous rap singer. A better and more lethal player when he shoots from instinct instead of trying to do the 'correct' thing. In the right team with the right manager and a good start McLean could be the business. Good loan signing IMO.
Just like Blackburn, Forest, Cardiff, Watford, Leeds, Blackpool, Bolton, Wolves, Birmingham, Bristol City and Barnsley fans all say about their clubs. There's loads of laughing stocks in the Championship, well going by what the fans say of their respective clubs!!
I don't know much about him to be honest, but 9 goals in 76 games and he's ahead of Jason Scotland, something a bit amiss there.
Jesus christ, what a bunch of pussies. If you cant take a joke...why the fook are you supporting Ipswitch?! Seriously fellas, grow some balls, man up and appreciate the little fella cos I can assure you, despite some views from a small minority of our fans, Mac will soon be winning your player of the year.
Before City fans get too stroppy about the quality of our city centre, McLean actually lives in Leeds.
We've got the whole of East Yorkshire on this board all of a sudden! Its a shame that they don't have as many who travel to support their team!
to be fair after shopping in 'ull, Ipswich will be poor in comparison and anyway if he starts scoring for you lot, you'll soon forget the "shopgate" scandal!
Big wow Less than 300 in it and we have been **** for 5 years! I don't seem to remember there being a huge crowd from Hull the last time you played at Portman Road.
It's you who brought up the issue of travelling support and that's 6,600 more in a season and it's no wonder we don't bring many to Ipswich, apparently the shopping is appalling.
To be fair, there are over a dozen clubs easily in the Hull catchment. If you add together the miles from Hull to Championship clubs and compare it Ipswich I'm sure Town fans have a lot further to travel.
we had a similar discussion on our board - about the city centre , Not sure if its depressing or heartening that you are also in a similar position :/ Hull City Centre is **** for spending cash on flashy things - great if you want to spend a quid or pop it on a horse though :/
His comments about Poundland show that he has no idea what the rest of the country is like and who pays his wages. He comes across like a teenager rather than a man about to hit 30.
